QR CODE PRODUCT INSTRUCTION ARCHIVE
Alas, over time, instruction manuals can become misplaced or damaged, as a result, when engineers encounter a fault or want to check on a controller feature, the only way they can gain information is to contact our help-line. Taking this into consideration and understanding that many engineers are on time sensitive jobs, we are in the process of completing a comprehensive PDF archive of our controller instruction books.
These will be stored on the Lester Controls’ website and accessed via a QR code that can be found fixed to the
inside of one of the controller’s doors. The QR programme will see the first of our controllers to have the QR sticker leave our facilities in March 2021. Over the remainder of 2021, we will be happy to issue QR stickers to all our customers who request one for affixing inside the controller cabinet.
Engineers with smart phones, will
find the appropriate Lester Controls’ instruction manual by simply scanning the sticker, however, they will need a free QR Code reader to scan the sticker.
  LIFT SHAFT SOUNDER
Lester Controls stock and supply a wide range of lift ancillary equipment, almost all viewable on our website. One of the recent additions to our ancillary range are two new safety products. One, an undercar flashing beacon and sound indicator, to alert anyone in the lift pit of any car movement. This is supplied as standard with controllers that are EN81-20 compliant.
The other, a flashing and sound indicator, fixed in the lift shaft to alert engineers working close to open doors or in the shaft itself which complies to EN81-20 & EN81-21. Both items are available from stock and with next day delivery, subject to order cut off times.
  TOUCH-LESS LIFT CONTROLS
Many of our customers will already be aware that we are developing a range
of touch-less lift control products that range from individual call buttons to
full COP replacements, fitted with a full range of EN81-70 compliant buttons. To accompany these and in some instances provide an alternative to existing buttons, we have also been developing
several wave activated controls, typically, for use in lift lobbies and on landings.
Availability of these new touch-less lift products will be announced on our website and via your usual Lester Controls contact.
