At Lester Controls, we believe mental wellbeing is just as important as physical safety. In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re proud to reaffirm our support for the Lift Industry Mental Health Charter – an initiative that encourages open conversation, peer support and visible advocacy within our sector.
As part of this commitment, we’ve introduced a simple but powerful reminder on our controllers:
“Don’t let your mind get stuck between floors – Reach Out.”
These small, visible labels serve as a prompt to look after ourselves and one another – whether on-site, in the workshop or in the office.
A Culture of Support and Safety
Mental health can affect anyone, and it’s essential that we continue building a culture where engineers, office staff and field teams feel seen, supported and able to speak up.
We’re proud to stand with others across the industry in creating safer, more understanding workplaces – not just in terms of equipment, but in how we treat and care for our people.
