SHIPPING DELAYS
Over the past months, as you will all be aware, supply chains have been stretched by unprecedented levels of shipping delays and semiconductor chip shortages. To date, we have been fortunate and have only experienced limited delays.
However, with global disruption to container shipping and pressures on our supply chains we are starting to see regular component supplies becoming irregular.
Whilst we are managing the situation at present we cannot guarantee our suppliers are doing the same. Our “dual sourcing” policy is currently working but we’re starting to see cracks appearing which have not been evident before.
We will do our best to keep our customers well informed of any delays but sometimes it is not bought to our attention early enough by our suppliers.
We will, of course, do everything in our power to avoid any delivery delays that may affect customer orders.
 NEW PRODUCTS REVIEW 2021
INTRODUCING THE TFT35 INDICATOR
Earlier this year, we announced the addition of a new high-quality TFT indicator, the TFT35, to our range of TFT indicators. In line with our other TFT indicators, the TFT35 is feature- rich and customisable allowing own on-screen branding, for both lift companies and end users alike.
Its bright 256-colour display has a 64K colour depth and improved viewing angle.
The TFT35 can be supplied in either vertical or horizontal modes. In use, the TFT35 has a multi-tone arrival gong with non-scrolling directional arrows and a large hall lantern arrow.
TC3 phasing out
The introduction of the TFT35 also signalled our phasing out of TC3 (Tri Colour 3-digit) indicators for new projects. We will continue to support customers who maintain lifts with TC3
indicators, with direct replacements for both older units and warranty exchanges on existing projects.
 NEW ISO 45001 CERTIFICATION
The safety of our staff and visitors to our premises, and for our employees who often visit customers’ sites is of paramount importance to us.
To confirm that our processes and procedures are all in place, and correctly functioning to ensure that this high level of safety is always present, we recently achieved
the Occupational Health & Safety Management Standard, ISO 45001 accreditation.
As many of our customers will know, ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued
to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. Its main concern is to mitigate any factors that are harmful or pose a danger to workers’ physical and / or mental wellbeing.
This accreditation confirms that our health and safety policies and procedures are compliant with the highest international standards, something we are all very proud of.
