The VSE 94 light beam Safety Edge
 The VSE 94 is a very compact, robust and affordable safety edge unit with some innovative features. The light edge uses 94 crossover beams to form the light ray curtain, over a 1740-mm active length edge. The VSE 94 has a maximum range of 6 meters edge to edge; an onboard adjustment is provided to optimise the range & sensitivity for the required door opening.
No need for a control interface unit to be mounted on top of the lift car. All the necessary circuitry including the volt free output relay are incorporated within the edges, thus cutting down on installation time and space on top of the car. Onboard diagnostics LED’s are mounted on the edges, visible from the landing when the doors are open.
Low power supply requirements typically 24vDC (optional 24vDC power supply unit available from lester controls). Slim design only 11mm thick edge, will allow it to run within the sill to sill running clearance. Load Monitor LM 694A The LM694A is the third generation of load monitor from the Lester
camp.
With the advent of high gain integrated amplifiers with increased
stability, and advanced strain gauge bonding has resulted in a highly
reliable and stable load monitor. An important key feature is the
compact design of the control unit, only 113mm x 89mm x 44.5mm.
 Low power supply requirements 12vDC to 50vDC (typically 24vDC preferably stabilised, a 24vDC supply unit can be supplied by Lester Controls if required) or 8vAC to 35vAC (typically 15vAC). Four independently adjustable output relays, two with normally closed contacts and two normally open contacts, allowing maximum flexibility to interface with the many varied lift control panels on the UK market place.
 Large numbers of units have already been installed in the UK to lifts old and new alike.
